During beta testing, the Chest app is available only through Google Play's testing programme. The key thing to know: you need to accept your tester invite first, then download Chest from the Play Store.

1. Accept your tester invite

Click on the link below and tap Accept invite (or "Become a tester") at the bottom of the page. This tells Google Play you're allowed to download the beta app.

Accept invite here: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.chestgroup.chest

Important: make sure you're signed in with the same Google account you use on your phone's Play Store - the one you gave us. If you accept the invite on a different account, Chest won't show up. If you're not sure which account that is, open the Play Store app, tap your profile picture top-right, and check the email shown there.

2. Open the download link

Once you've accepted, tap the Download on Google Play link on the same page. This opens Chest in the Play Store.

You can also access the app download page here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chestgroup.chest

3. Install Chest

Tap Install, just like any other app.

If you see "Item not available" or can't find the app, it's almost always because the invite was accepted on a different Google account - see step 1, or send me an email at [email protected] and I'll help sort it.

4. Open Chest

Once it's installed, open Chest from your app drawer or home screen.

That's it - you're in! Next up: your first beta steps →

A quick note: because this is a beta, Chest won't appear if you search the Play Store directly - you have to go through your invite link the first time. After that it behaves like a normal app, and updates come through the Play Store automatically.
