Cypress College’s Journalism Program prepares students to work globally across all media from anywhere at any time. This international, web-first program emphasizes innovative journalism using the latest digital tools and software. Students gain hands-on experience in convergence journalism—working with words, photos, video, and audio—to produce The Cypress Chronicle, a dynamic online news platform featuring breaking news and photos, C-Scope Video Magazine, Cypress College Radio (a 24/7/365 live and streaming webcast), and Divergence Magazine. Graduates go on to work with corporate media organizations that are shaping new models of journalism.
