K-Developedia is an open-access knowledge platform developed at KDI School of Public Policy and Management. It curates research, data, and policy analysis on Korea's development experience — built for an international audience of researchers, students, and practitioners who want to engage seriously with what Korea did, how, and why it worked.
The K-Developedia Perspectives series publishes original essays that bring new voices into this conversation. We look for submissions grounded in official and academic sources — government reports, peer-reviewed research, and data from recognized institutions — over informal or unverified material. Selected submissions are edited and published on the platform, where they reach readers across policy schools, development agencies, and research institutions worldwide.

This contest is open to everyone — graduate students, researchers, and practitioners anywhere around the world. You do not need to be affiliated with KDI School, and you do not need to be an expert on Korea. What we're looking for is rigor, a clear argument, and genuine curiosity about how policy shapes development outcomes.
We invite essays that offer your perspective on Korea's development experience — grounded in evidence, supported by data visualization, and written for a policy audience. This is not an academic paper. We want well-researched, clearly written pieces that go beyond summary and show us how you think.
