Katie (katiclyzm) is a YouTube Commentator, who began her career making generic commentary about TikTok Drama.
Before pivoting to almost exclusively critiquing Onlyfans Models around 6 months ago, her first video of the kind, about Bonnie Blue titled ‘Creepiest E-Girl on TikTok’ garnered more than triple her previous average view count. Following this viral video, she began making more and more ‘industry critiques’.
It is fair to say she is most certainly monetising this content, and in recent months her content is, more often than not, about female Onlyfans creators. This raises ethical concerns about hypocrisy and double standards, as she is more than willing to profit off sex workers labour, their names, and the details of their lives - all while loudly condemning them for profiting off their own body and labour. She is also more than happy to degrade and dehumanise workers, making jabs about appearance, dignity, future relationships/children’s potential disgust, etc. - while demonising the men who patron sex workers, who she presumes to be all holding the same degrading beliefs about sex workers as her.
Katiclyzm has positioned herself as a kind of moral voice in the commentary space, but has not demonstrated consistent transparency around her own decision-making or biases. In her short career making content she has found herself in a few public scandals, which raise questions about the consistency of her ethics.
Known Controversies
DankyJabo Porn Addict/Abuser Accusation
In a recent controversy involving two other YouTubers (ImAlexx and Ex-Partner Alice) where Alice accused Alex of Domestic Violence, Katie (and another Youtuber named Louis) released a commentary video taking Alice’s side. In this video she accuses Alex’s former video editor DankyJabo, of being a porn addicted misogynist, and potential abuser of women and girls, based on one offhand joke about a casting couch.
In response, DankyJabo released a video titled “Louis Mcclung & Katiclyzm False Allegations EXPOSED,” in which he addressed each accusation in detail. He argued that the allegations were based on misinterpretations, out-of-context statements, or outright fabrications. He also criticised the accusers for what he perceived as a coordinated attempt to damage his reputation without substantive evidence.
She later released an apology, where she doubled down on many of her general opinions, but admitted to and apologised for making heavy accusations without any proof.
Transphobia Allegations
After a now-deleted video about trans creator LillyTino in which she insinuated that Lilly was ‘not actually trans’ and also ‘predatory to children’, among other videos about her and another trans creator called Elphaba, Katie has received backlash for overstepping from mere commentary, to harmful transphobic rhetoric.
Despite deleting this worst video, many other videos about Lilly and Elphaba are still up on her YouTube.
Known Connections:
Katie has collaborated with Gail Dines on a video interview for her channel, in this interview they both refer to sex workers as ‘cum dumpsters’ ‘whores’ ‘sluts’ ‘prostitutes’ ‘hookers’ etc., and repeat debunked claims about porn induced sexual dysfunction and unfounded claims that porn causes sexual and domestic violence.
