Kind.Me is a private self-reflection app created by Osura Perera. This Privacy Policy explains what information Kind.Me collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.

Kind.Me is not a medical, diagnostic, crisis, or emergency service. If you are in immediate danger or may harm yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis support line right away.

Information We Collect

Kind.Me collects information you choose to provide in the app, including:

• Account information, such as your email address or Apple sign-in identifier.
• Profile information, such as your name, profile photo, age, birthday, location, gender, and pronouns, if you choose to add them.
• Check-in information, such as recorded moments, dates and times, selected self-kindness categories, feeling intensities, context tags, and notes.
• Feedback messages you send through the app, including your message, email address, app version, and the time it was sent.
• App settings, such as theme, reminder preferences, onboarding status, note prompt settings, and home screen preferences.
• Purchase and subscription status used to unlock premium features.

Kind.Me may also process microphone audio and speech recognition data when you choose to use voice notes. Voice notes are used to create text transcripts for your reflections. The app does not use the microphone unless you grant permission and start recording.

How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Save, sync, and restore your Kind.Me data.
• Show your check-ins, calendar, jar, insights, reminders, and settings.
• Provide premium features and restore purchases.
• Generate optional haiku reflections when you use that feature.
• Respond to support requests and feedback.
