HOW DOES THE OPEN PLAY WORK?

🎾 Game Format πŸ”„ SIX-THEN-ELEVEN ROTATION

To keep the games moving and give everyone a chance to play with different players:

1️⃣ Play to 6 points Once a game reaches 6 points, players will rotate/change courts according to the assigned rotation.

2️⃣ Continue to 11 points After the rotation, the game continues until one team reaches 11 points.

3️⃣ Start the next game Once the game reaches 11 points, the game ends and players follow the next court rotation for the next game.

πŸ“ Example: Game starts β†’ Play until 6 points β†’ change court β†’ Continue playing β†’ First team to 11 points wins β†’ Rotate for the next game.

πŸ”„ Court Rotation β€’ Players will change courts after every game. β€’ Court assignments will be based on the current rotation/ranking system. β€’ Players should move to their assigned court promptly after each game to keep the session running smoothly.

πŸͺ™ Who Serves First? β€’ The first server is decided through a coin toss before the game. β€’ Winner of the toss chooses whether to serve or receive.

πŸ“ Serving β€’ Standard pickleball serving rules apply. β€’ The serve must be made underhand and diagonally across the court. β€’ The server must serve from behind the baseline.

πŸ“Š Ranking β€’ Your performance throughout the session determines your position in the rankings. β€’ Every game counts, so play hard, play fair, and keep climbing!
