Introduction

Telescope is a service that allows business owners to customize their target audience for a messaging campaign by selecting specific parameters, such as gender, age, income level, interests, and so on, and send messages to subscribers from Vodafone’s internal database.

Problems and Needs

The existing website looked outdated and did not meet the business’s needs.

After a briefing with the client, it was determined that the new website should be more modern, attract new customers, and provide them with a clear understanding of the product and its features.

A new visual style also needed to be developed to make the company stand out from its competitors.

Goals

The project goal was to create a modern, visually appealing landing page with clear and intuitive navigation for users, making the service easy to understand and use.

Design Process

Competitor Analysis → Content Structure → Wireframing → Visual Design

The first phase of work on the project was meeting with the client and a brief description of the Telescope service. The client shared a list of competitors, and after that, I set out to explore the basic functionality of their platforms.

Based on competitor research, I discovered that Telescope has a number of advantages. Other messaging platforms such as Adwisor and Omnicell also offer SMS messaging, but Telescope allows users to use a larger number of characters per SMS, has a simplified registration and verification process that doesn’t require physical documents, and has no limit on the number of SMS messages. This allows users to explore the service and test it before sending a large-scale campaign.

Content Structure

Before

The website lacked a distinctive visual style, had an unclear content structure, which made it difficult for users to understand the information.
