European Defence Innovation Forum · 11–12 November 2026 · World Forum, The Hague · WWW

Latvia joins EDIF 2026 as an official delegation, alongside the Netherlands, the UK, Ukraine and the wider European defence community. Latvia's defence ecosystem is growing fast, built on a defence commitment of 5% of GDP and on close cooperation across Europe. Latvian companies iterate quickly, moving swiftly from design to field testing, and are open to buyers, integrators, co-developers and investors across allied countries.

The combined Latvian delegation brings together 15 companies and institutions, from a six-month-old startup to a 30-year NATO procurement partner.

The focus is unmanned systems, including a full counter-UAS chain from drone detection through autonomous high-speed interceptors to rocket-propelled counter-drone munitions. The delegation also brings FPV and nano ISR/strike drones, autonomous UGVs, deployable tactical networks, drone propulsion, custom battery systems and operator training.
