Leah’s Story in a Nutshell:

Leah was 28 and on fire, a viral-exploding career as a self-employed stand-up comedian and circus acrobat. She was ****living full time on the road and in the middle of a 30 week national tour, when everything came crashing down.

Extreme symptoms landed her in the ER.

She walked out with a diagnosis that would upend her entire life: Type 1 Diabetes.

No family history. No warning. No health insurance.

Then came the gut punch: $40,000 in medical debt, practically overnight.

Doctors gave her four options.

Quit the career she'd fought for and take a corporate job for the benefits.
Marry someone with a corporate job for theirs. (lol no)
Leave the country entirely.
Or magically triple her income just to survive

She was not about to let a diagnosis derail a career on the steepest upward climb of her life.

So she turned it into fuel.

Now it’s her mission to become as wildly successful as possible while becoming one of the loudest, funniest, most authentic voices for Type 1 Diabetes awareness.
