☝️ By default, every object has a material (lightning layer and a colour). If you have a light source, you need to set the lightning layer material. If not, you can turn off the lightning layer.
☝️ Lighting layer can help you to set the suitable surface for your object. Looking at the light-reflection spot, we can judge if the object is matte or glossy.
☝️ Every material (except displace) has a blending mode (normal, screen, multiply, overlay).
☝️ For the image layer, select the correct projection, depending on your object's shape.
☝️ You can use fresnel material to imitate the background reflection on the object.
☝️ Glass material can't be exported with transparency.
☝️ Matcap material is your best friend 🙂
Now, you can rotate an image in the image material layer. This is a very useful update, and it works for every projection.
