This Privacy Policy explains how Liquid Glass Widgets (package com.jndapp.liquid.glass.widgets, the "App") by Just New Designs ("we", "us") handles information. By using the App you agree to this policy.
1. Summary
- We do not require an account and do not sell your personal data.
- Your widget settings, notes, contacts selections and preferences stay on your device.
- The App uses Google services for analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, ads and in-app purchases (see section 4).
- Some widgets fetch public data (weather, currency, crypto, etc.) from third-party services over the internet.
2. Information we access and why
The App only requests permissions needed for specific widgets. You can deny or revoke any of them in Android settings; the related widget may then not work.
- Accessibility service (optional, off by default; you enable it in Android Settings > Accessibility): used only by the glass-effect widgets to find where the app's own widgets sit on your home screen and to take a screenshot of the wallpaper/home screen behind them, so the glass effect matches your wallpaper. It is not used for any other purpose. The screenshots and widget positions are processed and stored only on your device; they are not collected, transmitted or shared. You can turn it off at any time in Accessibility settings.
- Approximate location (ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): used by weather, air quality and sunrise/sunset widgets. Used to fetch local data; not stored on our servers.
- Contacts (READ_CONTACTS): used by contact widgets so you can pick a contact for quick call/message shortcuts. Contact data stays on your device and is never uploaded by us.
- Physical activity (ACTIVITY_RECOGNITION): used by the step counter widget. Processed on-device.
- Usage access (PACKAGE_USAGE_STATS): used by screen-time/app-usage widgets. Processed on-device only.
- Bluetooth (BLUETOOTH_CONNECT): used to show battery levels of connected devices. On-device only.
- Installed apps list / launcher queries: used by app-folder, AI-bar and shortcut widgets to display and launch apps and icon packs. On-device only.
- Network / Wi-Fi state and Internet: to load online widget data and detect connectivity.
- Notifications, exact alarms, foreground service, boot completed, wake lock: to show notifications, keep widgets and clocks updated, and restore widgets after reboot.
- Flashlight, Do Not Disturb access, Write settings, Set wallpaper: to power toggle widgets and wallpaper features you choose to use.
- Photos/images you pick (e.g. for photo widgets or wallpapers) are stored locally and not uploaded.
