• Marching band is the fall semester of the band program at Bradley Central High School.
• Physical movement is of great importance throughout this course; students are expected to march and play an instrument.
• Color Guard and Drumline are both determined by auditions.
• The Marching Band will be required to travel to various football games and competitions to perform and compete.

Band Fees 💵

• $300 - Marching Band fee
• $40 - Marching Band Shoes

Heat Safety Policy ☀️

• Uniform Heat Policy
  • If the heat index is forecasted to be above 95 degrees at the start of the football game, the band will not wear uniforms and will instead wear t-shirts and khaki shorts

Band Room Protocol

For all Intents and purposes, the band room serves as a band student facility.

• Students who are not enrolled in or actively participating in the band program are not permitted in the band room unless specifically authorized by a band director.
• To protect the privacy, safety, and security of all band students, non-band members—including parents, siblings, friends, and other visitors—should not enter the band room during rehearsals, classes, or other band activities.
• Parents, please wait for your students in the parking lot after games/activities. Students will be released promptly after all uniform changes and equipment cleanup are completed.
• Visitors should remain in designated public areas unless escorted by a member of the band staff.
• Students are responsible for ensuring that unauthorized individuals do not enter the band room with them.
