Metaphor Finder (the "App") is an AI dictionary that explains expressions from literature, classics, the Bible, and history. This policy describes what information the App processes and how.

• The App has no accounts or logins and does not collect identity information such as your name or email.
• Your search history is stored only on your device.
• Search queries are sent to a server solely to generate AI explanations and are not permanently stored.
• Displaying ads (Google AdMob) involves collection of certain data, such as advertising identifiers, by Google.

1. Information We Process

a. Information you enter

• *Search queries: To generate an AI explanation, your query is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to the developer's server and forwarded to the Google Gemini API. Queries are used only to generate the answer and are not permanently stored on the server. Minimal logs for service operation and error diagnosis are kept temporarily and deleted automatically.

b. Information stored only on your device

• *Search history (questions and answers) and app settings (such as language) are stored only on your device and are never sent to the server. You can delete your history at any time from the "History" screen, and it is removed when you uninstall the App.

c. Information collected for advertising (Google AdMob)

The App uses the Google AdMob SDK to show rewarded ads that replenish your daily search count. In this process, Google may collect:

• Device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier)
• IP address and the coarse location estimated from it
• Ad impression and interaction data
• Diagnostic data such as crash logs and performance data
