The Trump Administration has sued California over our mail-in voting system. For that reason, I would recommend that you either drop off your mail-in ballot at a ballot drop-off center (libraries and government buildings often have these) or vote in person (early voting or on November 3rd). That way, you can be sure your ballot will be counted. You can read more about it here.
