Quote from our CEO Jens:
WunderGraph started with a “let’s create a unified API layer” mindset. Our customers taught us that the hard part was never the router or the schema registry. It was coordination: hundreds of teams, thousands of services, and nobody sure which API already exists, who owns it, or why it looks the way it does.
Agents make that problem bigger. A model can write code, but it doesn’t know what your company knows. To answer a question, refund an order or close a deal, it needs the right context: live data, the right capabilities, and permission to use them. So do the apps our customers ship and the people who run their business.
We believe context belongs to you, not to your model provider. We believe security and governance are what let companies say yes to AI, and that open source is how infrastructure earns trust. And we still find joy in automating the boring plumbing, so people can build what they set out to build.

Give every agent, app and person the right context. Securely, openly, and with any model.
We start inside the company: turning every system it runs into context its agents, apps and teams can use, without losing control of any of it.
Then we go one level up, making the world’s services usable by any agent, under each company’s rules.

| 01 | Engineering Excellence | Quality, performance and craft are non negotiable. We ship work we're proud to put our name on. | | --- | --- | --- | | 02 | Our customers win, we win | We solve our customer’s problem first, not the one that's convenient for us. | | 03 | Open Source Your Knowledge | No siloes, no gatekeeping, share context and decisions openly. | | 04 | Low ego, high ownership | Wear any hat that needs wearing. Take genuine responsibility for outcomes. | | 05 | We genuinely care | No politics, no BS. We move as one team. We collaborate, have each other’s backs and care about the people as much as the product and customers. | | 06 | Start up mode | Change is a constant, we adapt quickly. We demand a lot, yet we provide flexibility and above market pay. | | 07 | Ship, learn, repeat | Curious to learn, confident to contribute. | | 08 | Raise the Bar Together | We challenge each other respectfully, share feedback openly, and aim for growth. | | 09 | Culture is Us | We are building the company we always wanted to work in, together. | | 10 | Velocity over perfection | Shipping fast is how we out-learn our competition through fast decision making and quick iterations. | | 11 | Fully remote, globally distributed | Meaningful work can be done from anywhere. We're a fully remote company, no office, no HQ. What matters are the results. | | 12 | Work Hard, Sing Hard | Teams that sing together, stay together. We work hard, celebrate often, and never miss a chance for karaoke. |
These are the core rituals that shape the fabric of our culture at WunderGraph. In a fast-moving, high-growth environment, these practices are intentionally designed to create alignment, foster connection, and help us reflect, celebrate, and grow together.
Each ritual plays a specific role in reinforcing our values, maintaining transparency, and ensuring everyone stays aligned, supported, and inspired.
Our monthly All Hands meeting is a moment to pause, reflect, and reconnect as a company. We use this time to share key updates, spotlight wins, recognize team contributions, and hear directly from leadership. Sometimes we have external guest speakers. It’s also a chance for everyone to ask questions, raise topics, and stay informed about our direction and progress. Think of it as our collective forum, keeping us aligned and informed.
Our retros follow a simple but powerful framework: Start, Stop, Continue. These sessions, help us intentionally reflect on what’s working, what’s not, and what we want to improve. They’re a structured space where teams can surface insights, build trust, and commit to action.
