This Privacy Policy explains how MockShell (“the App”) handles information when you use it. The App is designed to keep your projects and media on your device and does not require an account.

1. Information processed on your device

Depending on the features you use, the App may process:

The App uses this information to create previews, save projects, capture motion, and export the result. Normal project creation and export do not require uploading your media to a MockShell server. We do not sell your personal information.

2. Photos and files

The App can read Photos or Files only after you choose a source through the system picker or grant the relevant permission. When you save an export to Photos, the export is written to the Photos library according to your choice. Apple controls the permissions and the Photos library account on your device.

3. Camera, motion, and AR

The optional video workflow may use the camera, Core Motion, and ARKit or related Apple frameworks to capture device movement and align a screen recording with a device scene. This data is used for the current workflow and the project you save on the device. The App does not use these sensors for advertising or background tracking.

4. Purchases

In-app subscriptions and the one-time lifetime purchase are processed by Apple’s App Store. The App receives product and entitlement results so that it can show localized prices, complete a purchase, restore a purchase, and apply access. The App does not receive your full payment card or billing credentials. Apple’s privacy policy and media-services terms apply to App Store transactions.

5. Analytics, advertising, and sharing

The App has no required account, advertising SDK, analytics service, or social sign-in. It does not include a required cloud library or automatic cloud synchronization. If you contact support by email, the information you choose to send is used to respond to your request and is retained only as needed for support and legal purposes.

6. Retention and deletion

Projects and media references remain on your device until you delete them, remove the App, or use an iOS feature that clears the associated data. You can delete projects and exports from the App or from the relevant Apple system library. To request help with a support message, email [email protected].
