MoneyTracker helps you plan monthly spending, track expenses, build Saving Goals, and understand how much you can safely spend today.
Organize predictable costs under Regular Spending, use Flexible Spending for changing purchases, and review your progress through clear visual indicators.
How do I add an expense or income?
Tap the “+” button on the main screen, select Expense or Income, enter the amount, choose a category and date, then tap Save Transaction.
What is Safe to Spend Today?
Safe to Spend estimates how much you can spend today while staying within your monthly target.
The amount is calculated from your available Flexible Spending, recorded expenses, safety reserve, and the number of days remaining in the month. It updates automatically when you add, edit, or delete transactions.
What is the difference between Flexible and Regular Spending?
Regular Spending covers expenses you expect every month, such as utilities, subscriptions, insurance, or groceries.
Flexible Spending covers purchases that change from month to month, such as coffee, taxis, dining out, gifts, or spontaneous shopping.
How do I create or edit categories?
Open Settings → Manage Categories.
You can create, edit, delete, and reorder Flexible and Regular Spending categories. Each Regular category can also have an expected monthly amount.
How do I scan a receipt?
Open the Add Expense screen and tap the camera button.
Take a receipt photo or choose an image from your photo library. MoneyTracker will analyze the image and suggest transactions for your review. Always verify the detected amounts and categories before saving.
How do Saving Goals work?
Saving Goals let you organize money for a particular purpose, such as a vacation, emergency fund, or new computer.
