The present-day arc — an ensemble heist campaign set in the great city of Mystra's Landing, a nine-district metropolis built on the site of the ancient city of Minstral's Landing. A party of five operatives work for the mysterious noble Isolde Ameathyra, pulling jobs that keep getting larger and stranger.
Mystra's Landing was founded on the ruins of Minstral's Landing — the same city that appears on a map found in Vaylin Shadowveil's 400-year-old Shadow Realm castle. The first High Lord, Thalindra Moonshadow, built the Spire of Stars. The city is governed by a Council of Seven and High Lord Alestra Silverhand, with the Mysterium regulating magic use and Force Gray keeping order.
The city has nine districts (wards), a sprawling Undermountain beneath the Yawning Portal, and a politics so tangled that half the noble houses have secrets worth killing for.
