  1. Overview

Nobloat ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered facial debloating application developed by Daniel Cawley. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. By using Nobloat, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

  1. Information We Collect

2.1 Face Photos and Images

When you use the Face Scan feature, a photograph of your face is captured via your device camera. This photo is compressed, transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection to our secure Cloudflare Worker proxy, and forwarded to OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision API solely for the purpose of generating an AI-powered facial analysis. We do not store your face photos on any server. OpenAI processes the image and returns a result. Photos are not retained by OpenAI after processing, in accordance with their API data usage policies (openai.com/policies/api-data-usage-policies).

2.2 Food Photos and Images

When you use the Food Scan feature, a photograph of food is captured via your device camera. This photo is transmitted in the same manner described in section 2.1 to OpenAI's GPT-4 Vision API for the purpose of generating nutritional information (sodium and potassium estimates). Food photos are not stored on any server after analysis.

2.3 Scan Results and Health Data

The results of your face scans (scores, analysis, recommendations) and food scans (nutritional estimates) are stored locally on your device using Apple's UserDefaults storage. This data never leaves your device except as described in sections 2.1 and 2.2. We do not have access to your scan results.

2.4 Usage and Progress Data

We collect basic app usage data including daily streaks, routine completions, water intake logs, sodium and potassium intake logs, and daily task history. This data is stored entirely on your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

2.5 Purchase and Subscription Information

If you subscribe to Nobloat Pro, your subscription is managed through Superwall and processed by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details, bank information, or any financial data. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information and can be found at apple.com/legal/privacy. Superwall's privacy policy is available at superwall.com/privacy.
