There's no shortage of things to read about AI. Every day brings new models, new benchmark milestones, bullish and gloomy predictions, fresh reasons to be excited and terrified.
What's harder to find is the breathing space to digest this change and put it in perspective.
Notes from the Frontier is a weekly gathering for anyone who wants to step away from the feeds, read perspectives big enough that they don't fit into a news bulletin, and enjoy a proper conversation about the extraordinary future we're heading into. Each week, we explore a different question through a handful of texts. We draw on philosophy, science, history, fiction, and direct accounts from this working inside (or against) the central nodes of this change.
You don't need to be an expert, we want to bring together curious, thoughtful people who come with their own priors and perspectives.
We may be about to face a tidal wave of superintelligent machines. If you would like to navigate this with a lense that pushes a bit wider than B2B SaaS or the jobs market, then this is the group for you.

One primary text a week, never more than 2,000 words. If a piece is longer, we focus on a chosen extract. About ten minutes of reading.
When appropriate we also have one or two counter-texts representing different perspectives, less than 500 words.
One session per week. Wednesday @ 7pm, in a bar in central Dublin
Each session follows the same rhythm:
