Quick start (2 minutes)
- Duplicate this template (top-right ••• → Duplicate) and rename the page to:
Team Name — Project Name.
- Fill sections top to bottom. Keep it simple: short paragraphs + bullets.
Guide: how to publish your submission page (so judges can access it)
Option A — Share to web
- Open your submission page.
- Click Share (top right).
- Go to the Publish tab
- Click on Publish.
- Copy link and paste it into the hackathon submission form.
- Click on View Site for a preview.

Note: The page updates in real-time so you can make updates even after the submission
Guide: invite team members
Invite people to edit
-
Open your submission page.
-
Click Share (top right).

-
In the invite field, type your teammate’s email.

-
Set access to Can edit (or Can comment if you only want feedback).
-
Click Share.
Free plan: collaboration limitations
Guest limit: Up to 10 guests per workspace (guests are people you invite to specific pages).
File upload limit: 5MB per file upload cap (I recommend you to embed links).
Team workspace block limit: If your workspace has more than 1 member, the Free plan is limited to 1,000 blocks total in that workspace (you’ll hit a “block limit” wall and won’t be able to add more content until you upgrade or reduce blocks).
Recommendation
- Use the Notion trial (for new users only) during the hackathon so the whole team can collaborate smoothly.
- Use one account/machine to update the Notion project submission doc without inviting team members to retain unlimited blocks
