Status: VALIDATED

Pattern: governed knowledge synthesis → interactive artifact → Notion HTML embed → device verification → registry writeback

Reference implementation: Khaos Dreamfield — Notion App Experiment

Validated capability

Notion can serve as an interactive artifact surface when a self-contained HTML file is uploaded as an attachment and placed on a page with an HTML embed block. In the validated Khaos Dreamfield run, the page executed JavaScript, Canvas2D animation, Web Audio analysis, local audio file selection, touch controls, presets, telemetry, and export previews on iPhone.

Validated workflow

  1. Resolve the exact project scope and authority boundaries.
  2. Retrieve the smallest governed packet set needed for the artifact.
  3. Separate source-backed constraints, derived design choices, counterexamples, and implementation patterns.
  4. Build a self-contained HTML artifact with no external runtime dependency.
  5. Run syntax, responsive, interaction, fallback, and replacement-input tests.
  6. Upload the HTML to Notion and render it with an inline sandboxed embed.
  7. Perform user-device verification on the actual target surface.
  8. Write the observed result back to Notion, Drive, and the synthesis registries.
