Is my data private?

Yes. Now. is designed with a "Local-First" philosophy.

• Your journal entries are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData technology.
• We do not have servers that read, store, or analyze your personal thoughts.
• If you delete the app, your data is removed from the device unless you have exported a backup.

How do I backup my data?

You can export your entire journal history at any time.

1. Tap the "ME" icon in the top right corner to open your Profile.
2. Scroll down to Preferences.
3. Tap "Export Data (JSON)".
4. Save the file to your iCloud Drive or email it to yourself.

How does FaceID work?

FaceID adds an extra layer of security to your journal.

1. Go to Profile > Preferences.
2. Toggle Face ID Lock to ON.
3. The next time you open the app (or switch back to it from another app), your content will be blurred until you authenticate.
