Nuvix is a notes app with an optional encrypted private space.
Your content stays on your device.
We do not operate servers that collect your notes, photos, videos, or files.
Data stored on your device
- Public notes — titles, text, tags, folders, attachments, and search history are stored locally using SwiftData and the app sandbox.
- Private space — photos, videos, files, and private notes you import are encrypted on device before storage. Encryption keys and entry phrases are stored in the iOS Keychain.
- Preferences — language, security settings, and onboarding completion flags are stored in UserDefaults on your device.
Permissions
- Face ID / Touch ID / device passcode — used only to unlock the private space on your device. Biometric data is processed by iOS and is not accessible to Nuvix.
- Photo Library — used only when you choose photos or videos to import into notes or the private space. Nuvix does not upload your library.
- Files — used only when you choose files to attach or import. Files remain on your device unless you export or share them yourself.
What we do not do
- No account registration or cloud sync in the current version
- No advertising or third-party analytics SDKs
- No sale or sharing of personal data with third parties
- No tracking across apps or websites
Data you export or share
When you use Share Sheet or export notes, you choose the destination.
Nuvix does not control how recipients handle exported data.
