Wan2GP -> Complete Setup Guide

Wan2GP is a free open-source app that runs the best AI video, image and audio models on your own computer. Wan, MiniMax H3, LTX, Hunyuan, Flux, Qwen Image and more. One app. No subscriptions. Because everything runs locally -> unlimited generations, forever free.

Before you start -> check your computer

This runs on YOUR machine, so hardware matters.

You need: -> A Windows or Linux PC with an NVIDIA graphics card (GTX 10 series or newer). Recent AMD cards also work. -> At least 6 GB of VRAM. Some models run with just 6 GB. More VRAM = longer clips and higher resolution. -> Around 60 GB of free disk space. Models are big downloads.

No graphics card, or on a Mac or phone? -> This one is not for you yet. Skip to the free online options at the bottom instead.

Step 1 -> Install Pinokio (the 1-click AI installer)

Pinokio installs complicated AI tools with one click. No coding, no terminal.

  1. Go to https://pinokio.computer
  2. Click Download -> pick Windows or Linux -> install like a normal app
  3. If Windows shows a safety warning -> click More info -> Run anyway
  4. Open Pinokio and finish the first-time setup. When it asks where to store files -> pick the drive with the most free space.

Step 2 -> Install Wan2GP inside Pinokio

  1. In Pinokio, open Discover (the page with all the apps)
  2. Search: wan2gp
  3. Pick the community script called wan2gp by Morpheus. AMD card -> pick wan2gp-amd instead. The official Wan2GP GitHub itself recommends these two over the default listing.
  4. Click Download -> then Install. Pinokio sets up everything automatically. This takes a while. Let it finish.
