This Privacy Policy explains how ONE OUT ("we", "our") handles information when you use our app. We designed ONE OUT to be local-first: your data belongs on your device, not on our servers.
1. Information We Collect
- Item records you create: photos (optional), names (optional), category, brand (optional), price (optional), and notes (optional) for the items you log.
- Settings and preferences: reminders settings, haptics, currency, categories, and cloud sync preference.
- Device-local usage data: trade history and statistics are stored locally on your device.
We do not require an account to use the app, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number unless you contact us directly.
2. How We Use Information
All information is used to provide the core functionality of the app:
- To display your balance, trade history, and statistics
- To power Out Debt tracking and reminders you choose to enable
- To generate your Year Review share card (generated on-device)
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising or marketing profiles.
3. Data Storage and Security
- Local-first storage: photos and item data stay on your device by default.
- Optional iCloud sync: if you enable cloud sync, your data is synced through your personal iCloud account, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple's iCloud infrastructure.
- No server upload by default: photos are not uploaded to our own servers.
4. Third-Party Services
