This Privacy Policy explains what information Orbi processes, how it is used, and the choices you have. Orbi is a planning app that uses a backend service to store planning data and provide optional AI-assisted features and notifications.

By installing or using Orbi you confirm that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

• Orbi creates an anonymous account on the backend. You do not need to register with email or password in the current version.
• We store planning data on the backend, including tasks, plans, insights, notification preferences, and related account records.
• We use third-party AI providers to generate certain planning features. The specific provider may vary by region, availability, or product configuration.
• We use Amplitude for product analytics to understand usage, improve the App, and debug issues. We do not use analytics data for advertising.
• If you enable notifications, your APNs device token is sent to the backend so the service can deliver reminders.
• If you use voice input, audio is processed through Apple’s speech recognition framework and may be sent to Apple depending on device and system conditions.

2. Data we process

2.1 Data stored locally on your device

The App stores limited data on your device, including:

• Session data. The backend refresh token and cached backend user ID are stored in the iOS Keychain so the App can restore your anonymous account between launches.
• Temporary access token. The short-lived access token is kept in memory while the App is running.
• App preferences. Appearance/theme selection and certain local UI state are stored in iOS UserDefaults.
• Pending request recovery records. Temporary local records used to recover interrupted actions.
• Voice input state. Temporary transcript and recording state during active dictation.
