Welcome to the officer team 💎 As an officer, the bridge between the rest of the staff team and leadership, and a lot of the day to day health of the clan runs through you. This isn't a huge power jump, but it does come with more responsibility, more visibility, and more trust placed in you. Take that seriously and wear it well.
The Most Important Thing: You Set the Tone
Chat mods look to you. Event coordinators look to you. PvM mentors look to you. The way you show up, communicate, and handle situations sets the standard for everyone below you on the team. That means being present, being fair, being someone people feel comfortable coming to, and modeling the kind of collaborative, drama-free culture that makes EG what it is.
Just like the rest of the staff team, officers work together. Bring things to the group, hear people out, and support your teammates. You have more authority, but that doesn't mean going it alone.
Your Role in the Big Picture
Officers oversee the staff team broadly, which includes the chat mod team, PvM mentors, and event coordinators. What that looks like in practice will depend on your specialization.
