An initiative to lower the barrier to entry for upcoming onchain data analysts

Mission

1. Make onchain analytics accessible to anyone with the drive to learn, regardless of their ability to pay for professional subscriptions (e.g. Dune, Allium, Token Terminal)
2. Raise the next generation of onchain data analysts through education and mentorship

Problem

• Onchain analytics access has become expensive through subscription models
• We, as an industry, need to support the existing infrastructure
• Onchain data skill is learned by doing:
  • Writing SQL queries
  • Building dashboards
  • Receiving feedback from others
  • Troubleshooting
• Newcomers get stuck between "can't afford the tools" and "can't get the job without the tool experience"

Program

The Foundation can address this gap directly, covering the cost of entry while building the necessary skillset

• Sponsored tool access: professional subscriptions covered, so learners can build real experience before they're employed
• Mentorship: each participant paired with an experienced analyst for guidance, review, and accountability
• Contribution and portfolio: participants build dashboards and present findings, with potential partner publications (Nexus Data Labs, Analytics Sage, Unchained Data), turning practice into a portfolio

Participation

• The goal: Produce original onchain analysis end to end, from framing a question to shipping a dashboard others rely on
