We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information PrepAce collects,
how we use it, and the choices you have.

## 1. Information We Collect

- Account information: your name and email address when you sign in with
  Google or Apple.
- Profile photo: an image you choose from your camera or photo library to use
  as your profile picture (optional).
- Study data: your progress, completed topics, answers, and how often you use
  the app.
- Content you send to the AI tutor: messages and images you submit to the
  in-app chat assistant (optional).
- Technical data: device type, operating system, language, and app version.
- Subscription status: whether your subscription is active (we never receive
  your card or bank details).

## 2. How We Use Your Information

- To create and maintain your account and save your progress.
- To personalize your study experience inside the app.
- To answer your questions through the AI tutor.
- To improve the app's content and features.
- To send study reminders, only if you allow notifications.
- To provide access to premium features you have purchased.

## 3. No Tracking

We do not track you. We do not link the data collected in this app with data
from other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes, and we do not
share or sell your data to data brokers. We do not access your device's
advertising identifier (IDFA).

## 4. Advertising

Free users may see ads served by Google AdMob. Ads are configured as
non-personalized and child-directed, with a maximum content rating of "G".
Google may process limited technical information to deliver these ads and
prevent fraud, as described in Google's privacy policy:

## 5. Service Providers

We only share data with providers that help us run the app, and only for that
purpose:

- Google Firebase (authentication, database, file storage, notifications).
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI (processes messages and images you send to the AI
  tutor to generate answers; it is not used to train AI models).
- Qonversion, Apple App Store and Google Play (subscription management and
  payments).
- Google AdMob (non-personalized ads, as described above).

We do not sell your personal information.

## 6. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud services (such as Google Firebase), and we
use reasonable technical measures to protect it.

## 7. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account and
all associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Delete account).
Deletion may take a few days to complete. You may also request deletion by
email.

## 8. Children

PrepAce is an educational app intended for students. If you are under 13 (or
the minimum age in your country), you should use the app with the consent and
supervision of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly use children's
data for advertising or tracking. Parents may contact us to review or delete
their child's data.

## 9. Payments and Subscriptions

Payments are processed exclusively by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
We do not store credit card or banking information. We only store your
subscription status (active/inactive) to unlock premium features.

## 10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version at
this same address and update the "Last updated" date.
