Start here: Find your occupation 🔎

Search your occupation on the Department of Home Affairs website first.

→ Skilled occupation list — Department of Home Affairs

Check:

• Your occupation name
• ANZSCO code
• Which visa subclasses it may be relevant to

Then check the legal occupation list

For the visa you're interested in, check the actual legislative instrument.

• 189 / 190 / 491 → Occupation list — 189 / 190 / 491
• 494 → Occupation list — 494
• 482 → Occupation list — 482
• 186 → Occupation list — 186
• 407 → Occupation list — 407
