Data We Collect

Photos (Camera & Photo Library)

• When you use the camera or photo picker to scan ingredients, your photos are sent to Google’s Gemini API (via Firebase AI Logic) for ingredient recognition.
• Photos are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers. Google processes these images according to its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
• We do not retain, share, or sell your photos.

Locally Stored Data

The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to any server:

• Pantry items and ingredients
• Saved recipes and favorites
• Cooking history
• Shopping lists
• Preferences (language, measurement system, dietary profiles, allergies, dislikes)
• Onboarding completion status
