This Privacy Policy explains how Paydown ("the App", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your personal data. By using the App, you agree to this policy.

1. Data We Collect

a) Account information (only if you sign in) When you use Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google:

• Your email address
• The unique user identifier provided by the sign-in provider
• Your sign-in method (Apple/Google)

You can use the App without signing in; in that case no account information is collected.

b) Your financial data The transactions, income/expenses, accounts (wallets), debts and installment plans, subscriptions, bills, and budgets you enter. This data is stored primarily on your device.

c) Cloud backup data (only with Pro and when signed in) If you use the cloud backup feature, the financial data above is backed up to our secure servers, linked to your account, so you can restore it on a new device.

d) Notifications We schedule local notifications on your device for payment reminders. These are generated on your device; their contents are not sent to us.

Data we do not collect: We do not collect location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or tracking data. The App contains no third-party advertising or analytics trackers.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide the App's core features (financial tracking, budgeting, debt and subscription management)
• To back up and restore your data when you request it
• To send payment reminders
• To authenticate your account

We do not use your data for advertising, and we never sell it or share it with marketers.
