Beyond the day-to-day, I spend part of my time thinking about story, process, and data. I believe context is just as important as data, which is why it’s important to question assumptions and current processes. Below are some concepts I created with the help of AI, focusing on tools that can either illustrate the idea of process more clearly or save time so that more time can be spent on storytelling.

Process Simulation Concept of an outbound picking process

Why is it important:

Simulation software typically costs a lot to run, and most simulations are built in coding environments such as the simmer simulation library for R. However, these lack visuals and are usually more technically demanding for beginners. This approach, with slicers on the side to fine-tune parameters, allows anyone to visualise processes and run multiple batch runs without typing any code.

3D Visualizer Concept of what a lightweight HTML based 3D visualisation of warehousing layout

Why is it important:

The idea is that instead of using a more technical and (time-consuming) 3D layout, this tracing method is faster.
