What we collect

To create your meal plan, you may provide:

• household size and children’s age ranges;
• diet, allergy, cuisine, budget, shop, cooking-time, schedule, appliance, storage, and meal-prep preferences;
• feedback or support messages you send us.

The complete meal-planning profile and generated plan are stored on your device. When recipes are loaded, allergy categories needed to filter unsafe recipes may be sent to our database provider.

We also receive basic technical and subscription information, such as an anonymous app user ID, device and app version, country, paywall activity, purchase status, and limited meal-planning attributes such as household size, budget range, preferred store, cuisines, and cooking preferences. We do not send allergy details or children’s diet information to our subscription analytics provider.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data. Piatto does not receive your full payment-card details.

Why we use it

We use this information to:

• generate and display a relevant meal plan;
• filter recipes based on allergies and dietary choices;
• operate subscriptions and restore purchases;
• maintain, secure, and improve the app;
• respond to support requests and meet legal obligations.
