Having too many and don’t know what to wear is always a dream problem to have. I watched Clueless for the first time when I was 5 years old.. and like all the girls, I was memorized by the Cher’s styling software…. I was lowkey thinking to myself dammm I want one of this when I grow up!
I even designed one when i first get started learning UX in 2022… Here is my cringe worthy design from back then… very pink…….. I know But back then I did not know how to build it since it was a mechanical engineer and we didn’t have cool power AI tools for code.
Now with all the cool tools we have I think I wanted to attempt to build my own app just to make my dream come true. I know there are variations of this app out there on the market but it’s not really what I looking for… I want something light, and I want to do all the styling myself. I love AI don’t get me wrong but leave the fun creative tasks to me… I want a tool that’s not automate my taste but just help me organize them.
Now as we all can see… we have all the AI tools that we can use for coding and i’m taking this opportunity to build my own app. I chose chatGPT as my partner in crime for this project…. and I’m using Expo/ React Native for the app. for now i’m host it locally right now since i don’t want to pay $99 for apple developer license for an app for just me.
These are the features- catagorize my clothings in top, bottom, outerwear, shoe, bag and jewelries. Then I can style the outfits on my phone and share with my friends..
