Frequently asked questions

Does PixelGone require an internet connection? No. Image editing and AI processing are performed locally on your device.

Are my photos uploaded to a server? No. PixelGone does not upload your photos.

Does PixelGone modify the original photo? No. The edited result is exported as a new image.

Why can an edited area sometimes contain artifacts? AI reconstruction estimates what was behind the removed object. Results depend on the size of the selection and the surrounding image. For best results, cover the entire object while keeping the selected area as precise as possible.

How can I reset the onboarding? Reinstalling the application resets locally stored preferences, including onboarding completion.
