Your use of the iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These terms explain Placefold’s features, subscriptions and handling of your content and supplement that license. They do not replace Apple’s standard license or reduce rights provided by applicable consumer law.
Placefold helps you save places, keep personal memories, make stickers from your photos, and arrange selected memories into scrapbooks. You may use it for lawful purposes with content you own or have permission to use. You retain ownership of your photos, thoughts and other personal content. We do not acquire ownership of your library.
Placefold does not require its own user account. You are responsible for access to your device and for using the app in a way that respects other people’s rights.
The free app lets you save places and memories without a numerical quota and keep up to two personal scrapbooks at a time. Practical storage and performance limits depend on your device.
An active Placefold Pro subscription allows you to create additional personal scrapbooks. The purchase screen describes the features currently included. Future features or release dates are not promised unless expressly stated as part of your purchase.
If your subscription expires, you can continue reading, editing and deleting existing scrapbooks. Your saved places and memories remain accessible. Creating additional scrapbooks requires active Pro access when the free allowance has been used. Subscription expiration does not itself delete your content.
Subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store. The available billing period, localized price and any applicable offer are shown before you confirm payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends. Your Apple Account may be charged for renewal within 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting or offloading Placefold does not cancel it.
After cancellation, access normally continues through the period already paid for, unless Apple provides a refund or otherwise changes the entitlement. Eligible purchases can be restored through Restore Purchases using the Apple Account associated with them. Restoring a subscription does not restore a deleted memory library.
Any price change will follow Apple’s rules and applicable notice or consent requirements. Refund requests for App Store purchases can be made through Apple’s purchase support. Nothing in these terms excludes a refund or other remedy required by law.
Placefold stores your library locally. It is not a cloud backup or synchronization service. Maintain suitable device backups and keep separate copies of irreplaceable photos. The app’s optimized photo copies are not a replacement for full-resolution originals.
Deleting a memory removes its app-owned photos and references in scrapbooks. Deleting a scrapbook does not delete its source memories. Removing the app’s local data can permanently remove your library unless you have a usable backup. We do not hold a server copy from which we can recover it. Copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere are managed separately.
