You can now verify your bank account instantly using Plaid, which simplifies how you add payout details during onboarding or updating your bank account. Instead of uploading documents or entering routing details manually, Plaid connects directly to your bank and verifies your account securely in real time.

Process

When you're ready to add or update your bank account for payouts, you'll see two options:

Instant Verification

• Search for your bank from the list provided.
• Log in using your bank credentials in a secure window.
• If prompted, enter your Multi Factor Authentication code or PIN.
• Select the account you want to use for payouts.
• Agree to share your data and accept the terms and conditions.
• Your bank account will be verified instantly.

Manual Entry

You can choose to enter your account and routing numbers manually. However, this method takes longer and requires an extra step:

• Enter your bank details manually.
• Upload a document such as a bank statement, voided check, or screenshot of your online bank portal.
  • Uploaded document needs to have the full routing and account number on it, the name that is on the account that matches either the legal name or the DBA of the business, and the bank name and logo (Voided check works best for these requirements).
