Public Safety: Fear & Contracts is a survival-focused Chainsaw Man mod where power usually comes with a bill attached. Sometimes the bill is blood. Sometimes it is your lifespan. Sometimes a government employee hands you a phone and somehow that is worse.

It explains what you need to play, craft, progress and understand. Hidden requirements, exact relationship thresholds, spawn rolls and similar secrets are deliberately left fuzzy unless knowing the number prevents pointless frustration.

Start here

If this is your first world, begin with Getting Started, then read Controls & Move Selection and Player Paths.

You start human. From there you can remain human and pursue contracts, join Public Safety, become a Hybrid, become a Fiend, or reach one of the stranger routes that the mod would prefer you discover without a spreadsheet open on a second monitor.
