Every story begins somewhere. This is mine.

If someone asked me to introduce myself, I don't think I would begin with my achievements, titles, or the places I've been. I'd begin with curiosity, because I believe that's what has shaped me the most.

Hello, I'm Khanza.

I'm someone who finds beauty in stories, whether they are hidden inside old books, expressed through poetry, told through history, reflected in art, or discovered in quiet conversations. I've always been fascinated by the way ideas travel across generations, and how every person carries a different perspective of the world.

My curiosity has taken me through many different worlds. Literature taught me to appreciate the elegance of language and the emotions words can preserve. History and culture taught me to look beyond what is immediately visible. And learning about people and society continues to remind me that there is always another perspective worth understanding.

I enjoy reading, especially books that carry ideas beyond their time. I find myself drawn to conversations about language, history, culture, society, and the small ideas that quietly shape our everyday lives. The more I learn, the more I realize how much there is still to understand.

Outside of all that, I find comfort in life's quieter moments, like reading for hours without noticing the time, discovering forgotten bookstores, listening to music that feels like a conversation, enjoying a warm cup of coffee, or simply sitting with my own thoughts. Somehow, these ordinary moments often become the ones that inspire me most.

This commonplace isn't a portfolio, nor is it a finished story.

It's an archive of ideas that caught my attention, books that changed my perspective, things I've created, lessons I'm still learning, and memories that remind me how every chapter has shaped the person I'm becoming. I don't expect to have everything figured out. In fact, I hope I never do. I want to keep asking questions, collecting stories, creating meaningful things, and allowing myself to grow with every season of life.

So, if you've found your way here—

Welcome to my commonplace.

I hope you enjoy wandering through these pages as much as I've enjoyed filling them.
