1. Introduction
Orca Labs ("we," "us," or "our") operates Netherguard: Hero Hunt ("the Game"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Game on iOS, Android, web, or Apps in Toss platforms.
By using the Game, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Game.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The Game stores gameplay and preference data locally on your device, including:
- Campaign progress, completed rounds, star ratings, best completion times, remaining-life records, and clear counts;
- Unlocked or viewed campaign and story nodes;
- Last selected round or campaign location;
- Language and locale preferences;
- Locally generated install identifiers used to keep a pseudonymous session identity when platform identity is unavailable;
- Advertising cooldown timestamps and similar local state used to prevent repeated ad displays;
- Game settings and other gameplay preferences.
This local data is stored using local storage mechanisms such as browser localStorage or device-native storage. Except where described below for backend, leaderboard, advertising, telemetry, or platform features, we do not directly access or upload your locally stored campaign progress.
2.2 Pseudonymous Session and Leaderboard Information
If backend, daily challenge, or leaderboard features are enabled, the Game may collect and process pseudonymous information such as:
- A pseudonymous player identifier derived from a locally generated install identifier or, on Apps in Toss, a platform-provided game user hash when available;
- Platform information, such as iOS, Android, web, or Apps in Toss;
- Game release, app version, and runtime channel;
- Session bootstrap information, including a Firebase custom authentication token used by the Game backend;
