SnapDetox is built on a single, uncompromising principle: Your data never leaves your device.

We do not believe in surveillance capitalism. This document is short because we have nothing to hide.

1. We Collect Absolutely Nothing

SnapDetox operates with zero network permissions. It cannot connect to the internet, even if it tried.

• We do not collect your personal information.
• We do not track your behavior.
• We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, nothing).
• We have no backend servers to send your data to.

If someone demanded your data from us, we couldn't provide it, because it physically does not exist on our end.

2. Photo Library Access

To function, SnapDetox requests read/write access strictly to your device's "Screenshots" album.

• We cannot and will not access your personal photos, videos, or Live Photos.
• The actual deletion of a screenshot is executed solely by iOS system APIs. You must manually confirm the system prompt to delete. SnapDetox cannot silently erase your photos in the background.

3. On-Device Text Extraction (VaultKey)

When you use the text extraction feature, SnapDetox utilizes Apple's native Vision framework.

• 100% Local Processing: The OCR (Optical Character Recognition) happens entirely on your iPhone's local Neural Engine. It works exactly like the native iOS Spotlight search.
• Temporary Storage: Extracted text (e.g., tracking numbers) is briefly stored in the app's local "sandbox" so you can view or copy it.
• Auto-Erase: Once you force-close the app or uninstall it, iOS automatically and permanently wipes this temporary data.
