This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Clutch mobile application (“App”) — an AI-powered dating and flirting practice coach with Practice chat, Coach screenshot feedback, and progress features.
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Minimum age: The App is intended for users 17 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under 16 where applicable law requires). If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
2.1 Account and identifiers
User ID — A unique identifier for your account (anonymous authentication). Created automatically when you open the App.
Device identifier — A persistent ID on your device used for daily usage limits. Stored on your device and linked to your profile on our servers.
Pseudo-email — An auto-generated address used for authentication. We do not ask for your real email in the App.
2.2 Practice (AI character chat)
When you use Practice, we collect and store:
These are stored in our database so you can resume an active practice session. The same message text is sent to OpenAI to generate replies and to run automated content moderation. We do not use Practice chat for human-to-human messaging.
2.3 Coach (screenshot analysis)
When you use Coach, you may select a photo from your library (conversation screenshot). That image is sent to our AI vision provider (fal.ai, using Google Gemini) for analysis. Coach images are not stored in our chat history and are not persistently saved to our database for this feature. You must only upload screenshots you have the right to use.
