1. Who we are

AquaLog is operated by AquaLog Studio. We are the data controller for personal information processed through the AquaLog mobile app and aqualog.app website.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what is strictly needed to run the service. Three categories:

a. Information you provide

• Account info: email address and a password hash (only if you create an account).
• Aquarium data: tank profiles, water test readings, maintenance events, livestock records, equipment records, photos you upload, notes.
• Support messages and any new species suggestions you send us.

b. Information collected automatically

• App diagnostics: crash reports, device model, OS version, anonymous app version usage. Used only to fix bugs.
• Approximate region (country-level) for routing requests to the nearest server. We do not collect precise GPS location.

c. Information from third parties

• Subscription receipts from Apple App Store or Google Play, via RevenueCat, used only to validate your Pro entitlement.
• Push notification tokens via OneSignal, used only to deliver maintenance reminders you opted into.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not collect contacts, calendar, microphone, precise GPS, browsing history, or advertising identifiers.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
