PhoneOff (hereinafter “the App”) is an iOS app designed to help users limit their own smartphone overuse. The App is designed with protecting user privacy as its top priority. This policy explains what data the App handles and how it is treated.

1. Data Collected

The App retains the following data only on the device itself. This data is never transmitted outside the device.

• The time limit you set (in minutes)
• The apps/categories selected for monitoring (FamilyActivitySelection token)
• Timestamp when the limit is reached
• Date, time, and count of ad views

2. Data Not Transmitted

The following data is never collected or transmitted.

• User’s personal information (name, email address, etc.)
• Overall device usage time (second-by-second breakdown)
• List of installed apps
• Location, contacts, and other personal data

The App uses Apple’s Screen Time API (FamilyControls / DeviceActivity / ManagedSettings), but all of this processing is completed entirely on the device. Usage measurement data and information about selected apps are never sent to any third party, including the developer.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App displays rewarded ads for the temporary-unlock feature. Ads are served by Google AdMob.

• Only non-personalized ads are served.
• The App does not request tracking permission via App Tracking Transparency (ATT) and does not track users using the IDFA (advertising identifier).
• The AdMob SDK may collect diagnostic data as technically necessary for ad delivery. Such data is handled in accordance with Google’s Privacy Policy.
