• The short version:* Drop It. is built to keep your information on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your habit data, we do not run analytics or advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information. Your goals, streaks, and notes stay on your phone.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Display name* — the nickname you choose during setup, used to personalize the App.
• Goals and habit data* — the habit names, categories, notes, streaks, and check-in dates you enter.
• Posts and comments* — any content you choose to share in the community feed.

Information collected automatically

• Subscription status* — whether you have an active Drop It. Pro membership, plus the plan and expiry date. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple; we never receive or store your payment card details.*
• Device-local identifiers* — a randomly generated identifier used to associate your data within the App on your device.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, health data, or advertising identifiers. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking technologies.

2. Where Your Data Is Stored

Your goals, streaks, notes, and preferences are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is not uploaded to servers operated by us. Because it lives only on your device:

• Deleting the App permanently deletes your data, and we cannot recover it for you.
• We recommend using device backups if you want to preserve your history across devices.

3. Sign in with Apple

Authentication is handled by Apple's Sign in with Apple service. If you choose to hide your email address, Apple provides a private relay address and we never see your real email. We do not receive or store your Apple ID credentials.
