# Scotome — Privacy

## No account, no server

Scotome has no account, no server and no advertising. We receive none of your data, and no database of your attacks exists anywhere.

## Where your data lives

On your iPhone, and in your private iCloud if backup is on. We have no access to it: that iCloud space is yours, not ours.

## Location

Used only to request the weather for your location from Apple’s service, at the moment of the reading. It is neither stored by us nor shared with a third party.

## Health

Cycle and sleep are read from the Health app at analysis time, read-only. Nothing is copied into Scotome, nothing leaves your device. You can revoke this at any time in iOS settings.

## Subscription

The purchase is handled by Apple. We see neither your name nor your payment method.

## Erasing

“Delete everything” in settings removes your data. Deleting the app removes what it holds; the iCloud copy is removed from iOS settings.

## No medical value

Scotome describes what you record. It makes no diagnosis and does not replace medical advice.
