Anook is a meditation and relaxation app developed by NOUS STUDIO LTD. We respect your privacy and have built it into the design — Anook collects none of your personal information. Apart from anonymous usage statistics that carry no identity (see “Third Parties” below), no data leaves your device.

We Collect No Personal Information

Anook has no accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own. Specifically:

• No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• No behavioral records that could identify you (we collect only anonymous usage statistics — see “Third Parties”)
• No advertising tracking identifiers (IDFA)
• No location history or movement records
• No crash logs
• No advertising SDKs, and no tracking across apps or websites
• No account registration required to use every feature

Apart from the anonymous usage statistics described below, Anook sends nothing to any server.

Data Storage

Everything Anook remembers (your preferences, the music and volume you chose for each scene, which scenes you've visited) is stored locally on your device only. It contains no identifying information and is never uploaded.

Anook offers no cloud sync. If you have iCloud Backup enabled, these settings may be included in your own device backup. That process is managed and encrypted directly by Apple, and we have no access to it. For more information, see the Apple Privacy Policy.

App Permissions

Anook uses a single system permission. It is optional — declining it leaves the app fully usable — and the data involved always stays on your device.
