This Privacy Policy explains how Sun Position (“we”, “us” or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application and related services (together, the “Service”).
The application processes solar planning locally. This policy explains optional location and camera access, saved information, reminders and exports you choose to share.
This policy applies to Sun Position and related services we operate that link to it. It does not govern independent services such as Google Play, device manufacturers, operating-system backups, email services or applications you choose when sharing files.
The application primarily processes planning information locally. No account is required.
When you contact support, we receive your email address and the information you voluntarily send, such as feedback, screenshots or technical details.
The app processes selected latitude and longitude, place names and time zones. Saved places may include precise coordinates, favourites and notes.
If you choose the current-location action and grant permission, device location is used for local solar calculations and suggesting a time zone. Accuracy information may be displayed. Manual coordinates and local city search work without location permission.
